One of the classes I am offering in November is the Stitched with Cheer Project Kit. This kit makes 18 cards – 3 of ech design). What a great way to make a stash of Christmas cards quickly and easily as the kit contains just about everything you need.
Add to it the Stitched with Cheer stamp set for fabulous sentiment and images. This stamp set is one of my go-to sets for fun images, lovely fonts and great sentiments.

After I finished my 18th Z-Fold cards I had some left over numbers so I decided to use them up right away before I cleaned up my desk! And I had two new stamps set that I wanted to ink up so these cards were born!
To start with I made my own printed background. I take an A4 sized piece of whisper white cardstock and randomly stamp my images all over the page. Then I can cut up the piece and add to a card base. This flower is from a set called Penned & Painted – it’s a 3 step set which means you stamp the layers over the top of each other to get the watercolour/waterwash effect.
The Birthday banner comes from a Hostess stamp set called Time of the Year and was cut out with the Bunch of Banners framelits. Quick, simple and yet effective – Love it! It’s so easy to change up the colours, the sentiment, the numbers etc. It’s my go-to design when I need to mass produce cards in a hurry!

| I had the Jar of Love stamp set and matching dies in mind and we used the both  in this month’s class so they were still on my desk, begging to be used some more. And why not? This is a fantastically versatile set which has got a lot of love by me already. | ||

It’s that time of the year when I needed to make cards for my girls’ basketball coaches. Their team colours are orange and black. Orange isn’t a colour I work with much at all so I had to become a bit resourceful. I should have placed an order for the Orange Glimmer paper in the new Holiday Catalogue (have you seen the catalogue? It’s truly amazing!) but I didn’t think about it in time. Oh well, I have ordered it now and I am now super organised for next season! AND I am looking at all the Halloween papers and accessories in a totally different way!
Both my girls have had male coaches this year which is why I kept the cards and gifts simple. I have used an older designer series paper pack (DSP) as the background for the card as it had a touch of orange. The alphabet stamp set is called Layered Letters Alphabet and the thank you sentiment comes from One Big Meaning.
The wine bottle was decorated with Peekaboo Peach ribbon, retired black ribbon and a retired stamp set called Good Sport.An oldie but a definite keeper!! I hung the basketballs from a piece of gold cord using stampin’ dimensionals – small foam dots. Tucked in with the bottle is a gift card.
For each girl I have decorated a small paper bag with their singlet number. Inside is their medal and some chocolates. Again simple but I think they look fun!
I hope they like them!
