Foxy Friend Fun!

At our recent class we used the ever-so-fun Foxy Friends and Dies. It was hard to narrow down which animal is my favourite.

I like to put out a little treat for the class attendees and it usually involves a little chocolate. This was just a simple paper wrap and a few punches.

And here is one of the cards we made. Adding a layer of the same colour cardstock that has been embossed really adds some texture and substance to the card. And arent those little foxes cute! Why not give it a try.  

I found this image sheet on Pinterest showing some of the ideas of animals you can make. Isn’t that peacock amazing?!

 

Having the coordinating punch makes mass production of these critters super fun and super quick.

Tip of the Day

Sometimes I find I have a brand new stamp set that I am desperate to ink up but I have so many ideas running around my head I don’t know where to begin. Does this happen to you too? My simple answer is – PINTEREST

I type in the name of the stamp set and the words Stampin Up and I am never dissapointed – there are always a heap of card samples to get my creative juices flowing. Why not try it for yourself.

Swirly Bird Bundle

Hello!

Today’s card is one that I made as part of a range of samples for a class a few weeks ago. This swirly bird bundle is just so versatile and the ideas seem limitless!

On this card I have used the largest of the Swirly Scribbles thinlits to create a wreath effect, adding the flowers and a sentiment to finish it off. The black against the Pop of Pink designer series paper (DSP) really does pop don’t you think?

The sentiment is from the set Cottage Greetings and the flowers are made using the Petite Petals punch.

I will be back with more ideas for this bundle!

More cameras….

Continuing on from my last post about the Pun Intended set, here are some more camera cards that I have made. I am so loving this image and the fun sayings to go with them! These cards are similar to ones I have seen on Pinterest. The first (green) card is similar to this one from Erica Cerwin – Pink Buckaroo Designs.

June Thank You cards

Hello all, for every order I receive I like to send a little thank you card. This one was the one I sent with June orders. I just love the camera stamp – it’s from a hostess set called Pun Intended (141804) which can only be purchased with hostess dollars for sales over $250.

I love to use the note cards, they are slightly smaller than a usual card but they come pre-scored and with a matching envelope. The layering squares framelits make layering a breeze and then a small strip of dapper denim designer series paper  completes the card. I added a little rhinestone to the camera as a ‘flash’.
