Hello stampers, it’s that time of the year where the winter sports are finishing for another year. I was asked to make a thank you card for my niece’s netball coach and team manager. The idea for this card came from this card by Emily Campbell at Tiny Kiwi Cards. Isn’t it cool?
This style of card is called a Z-fold card and it is not complicated at all. The team colours I needed were almost the same as the original card so my card looks very similar. I ended up making both the cards exactly the same as I had a great production line set up! Not a lot of stamping on this card it’s mainly assembling the various punches.
I had to improvise for the netball rings as I didn’t have the exact die that Emily used, but I think it turned out ok.
The girls were made using the new cookie cutter punch (available from 1st September) the fox builder punch and the owl punch. This made the process a lot easier and quicker! The bibs were stamped using the Labeler Alphabet set. The ‘thanks’ sentiment is from the Jar Of Love set.
Heaps of fun to make, but certainly not a quick and simple one!
Now I’m off to make a soccer card for my nephew’s coaches.
I love the silly puns in the hostess set – Pun Intended. I saw this idea on Pinterest and had to make if for my Dad. Love ya Dad ❤️
The base is Dapper Denim stamped with the light globe stamp in Dapper Denim. The banner piece is Very Vanillla again stamped in Dapper Denim. The sentiment is stamped in real red and the small DAD sentiment is from the set Thoughtful Banners.
The background splatter is from the Gorgeous Grunge set. I used a sponge dauber to stamp the yellow glow. The red heart is coloured using my real red marker.
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there for next Sunday.

As a demonstrator One of the (many) perks I get is to be able to pre-order from the new Holiday Catalogue and I’ve been having a great time playing with all my new Christmas goodies.
The first set I couldn’t wait to ink first is called ‘Cookie Cutter Christmas’ It also has a matching punch making this tag quick and easy to make in bulk. The stamp set includes Santa, a reindeer, a Gingerbread man a Teddy bear and an Eskimo and much more.
Isn’t Santa cute?

Today’s card was a special order for a 40th birthday. The brief was a 40th birthday card for a ‘very ladylike lady’. I’m hoping this fills the brief!
It’s a bit hard to see in the photo but the heart is cut out using dazzling diamonds glimmer paper so it has a lovely diamond shine which gives the card a bit of bling but doesn’t make it to overpowering.
I have used the petal burst embossing folder to emboss a layer of flirty flamingo card and layered it onto a flirty flamingo base. I love this effect. A few rhinestones along the bottom completes it.
I am always happy to take orders for cards, please just get in contact with me.
